Weekly Weight: 204.6 lbs

Happy Valentine’s day everyone! Whether you are with someone you love or flying solo I wish you all the best. Personally I am just happy to be back on track. After the last few weeks I thought nothing would get back on track. But this week was nice. I hit my workouts, shaking them up when I could, and maintained a tight grip on my meal plan. This was made easier by calm waters. I don’t know if everyone got their public insanity out last week and are now recuperating or of the heavy rains hitting our area just made everyone keep to themselves.

Either way, I’m taking it. I sweated, I ate right and tonight I am making a nice meal for me and my baby. He actually suggested going out, which was a huge offer from him since he doesn’t like crowds and anyplace we would go on a Friday night, let alone on Valentine’s day, would be packed.I declined so tonight we are having grilled lamb chops rubbed sown with garlic and rosemary, roasted fingerling potatoes and a green beans followed by homemade chocolate mousse. Let me tell you, cutting down that desert recipe so that we don’t have enough for a dinner party of eight was a feat in and of itself. Tonight’s dinner may be a little heavier than usual with the desert, but I’m putting in extra time on the treadmill today.

Besides its a celebratory meal and I live with a chocoholic who doesn’t consider it a celebration until the chocolate based dessert appears on his plate. Tomorrow we will go out to the movies, but tonight we will dine in.

But before I toddle off to the treadmill to get ahead of the chocolate and cream, the stats.

Starting Weight: 246 lbs

Last Week’s Weight: 205.4 lbs

This week’s weight: 204.6 lbs

This week’s loss: 0.8 lbs

Total weight lost thus far: 41.6 lbs

Weight left to lose (apx.): 81.6 lbs

Its a little less than a pound, but I am once again moving in the right direction. I feel good about what I accomplished this week and I’ve adjusted my workout so I am less bored and still challenging myself. I don’t know if the 30 day water challenge I started will affect anything, but it will be interesting to see. So that is all for this update, I’m off to walk and start drinking down my first bottle of water. I’ll be back this afternoon for the Friday Face Mask before I start my final prep for Valentine’s night in.
