Not much of a loss I know, but as I still feel bloated any loss is a good loss in my book. As well as a surprise. Don’t get me wrong, I did my work outs and ate my planned calories. It’s just the wrong time of the month to expect a great weight loss.
I can live with that.
I can also hope that means next week will look pretty good.
It was a pretty quiet week here. Which was nice. I think part of the quiet was due to last weekend. In a fit of bad weather angst I decided to tackle cleaning out one of the closets we’ve used for storage more or less since we moved into the house. I spent last weekend alternating between watching horror movies and discovering items we hadn’t seen in three years. As movers packed us and moved us on our last move it was a bit like a strange archaeological excavation. At least they wrapped everything in brown paper instead of bubble wrap though. we used a shredder on it and added it to the compost bin.
Speaking of gardens, as I am getting ready for spring (I know an optimistic thought with more snow expected tonight, I’ll be adding some Garden related posts to the site, mostly because it is such a big part of my life in warm months. Hopefully you’ll find it interesting.
Also I have one bit of absolutely shameless self promotion. March 1st through 7th is Smashwords Anual Read an E-book Sale and I am participating. For those who don’t know Smashwords is an e-book publisher for independent authors.
During the sale week all of my books will be 50% off with some of them even being free. And even if my books don’t interest you, there are many wonderful authors writing about just about any topic of fiction or Non-fiction, that you can think of so you might just be able to find your next great read there. You can access my page HERE or just go to the general Smashwords Homepage and type in the name of my alter ego (Valerie Gaumont).
Okay, that’s it for my moment of shameless self promotion, although as a warning I will be putting a reminder and links up each day of the sale (March 1-7). I’ll try not to be too obnoxious about it.
To the stats!
Starting weight: 246 lbs
Last week’s weight: 204.0 lbs
This week’s weight: 203.8 lbs
This week’s loss: 0.2 lbs
Total weight lost thus far: 42.2 lbs
Weight left to lose (apx.): 80.8 lbs
Written out like that the 0.2 loss does look a little sad, but every little bit counts. And there is no point in obsessing about it. Next week will be better. I can feel it. So I am putting it out of my mind and getting on with my day. I hope you have a fantastic one, no matter what you have planned and I will see everyone back here this afternoon for the Friday Face Mask. Until then, have a good one.
