The Daily: September 27th, 2021

Good afternoon my darlings, I hope you had a fantastic weekend. Around here we spent it mostly chopping down a tree and hauling the wood away. The trees weren’t huge and they were lovely trees but they were planted in the wrong location. Namely too near the water main. If it is a choice between the lovely Japanese Maple and having unimpeded running water into the house, I’m afraid the water wins. We’ll be planting replacement trees elsewhere. I know we talked about just moving these, but there was some sort of problem with moving them. I can’t recall what, but we needed to buy more trees instead.

On the plus side we now have mulch.

I know not the most exciting thing to hear about but as I’ve never really thought about how to take down a tree, let alone two (regardless of the size) it was kind of interesting to be a part of. I also think it counts as several weight lifting exercises in one. There was a lot of lifting and carrying involved. Since me and the chain saw aren’t the best of friends, I opted for hauling tree parts away. My back shoulders and the front of my thighs certainly feel the effort of tree removal.

I’m just glad we completed the task post summer heat and pre winter chill.

To each thing it’s season, eh?

I know, My plan was to use a few certain products either to continue testing them or to use them up. I just got so annoyed with the YC Collection liquid blush that I just picked up different products. Except for the setting spray. That I think I have only two or three more uses of so I want to finish it out. My YC Collection blushed came in an IPSY bag and they seem to be drying out remarkably fast. I don’t know if I just got an older product or if I might had accidentally not closed one of them all the way but the liquid has noticeably thickened since I opened them a week ago.

So I just went with a different set of products. Today I really just wanted something simple and quick, which it why I chose the products I did. I have only a little bit of the YSL Primer left so I figured I’d use it as it is a sample i want to use up. I like the primer I’m just not sure I like it enough to pay the large price tag for the primer. It is a good primer. It gently illuminates under a matte foundation and it holds face products in place well. It doesn’t do any pore filling or cancellation of redness. While I like an illuminating primer now and again, it is pore filling and redness cancelation that I tend to lean towards. Illumination just isn’t my go to. While this does it well, and I would love to use this more often, I think this is a wait until a sale or make it a spouge purchase for a special event. It isn’t something I would reach for everyday even though I do like it. It does have a lovely scent to it though, which I enjoy.

The NYX Skin Veil always works well for me. It is great when i want something simple and quick. It blends well and I don’t have to actually think about it. which is kind of what i was going for today.

The Ciate Bronzer works well with a skin veil and BB cream type formula because it is not highly pigmented. It is a buildable formula. As the NYX is a more natural finish, the buildable formula was definitely the way to go today.

I also used the Colour Veil from Illamasqua because it is a softer, more gentle blusher. It is a thick jelly formula and a little dab will do. It sheers out into a soft wash of color that I really like. It also goes well with the lighter more natural looking foundations and it stays in place all day.

The Elf Bite sized palette is a long time favorite and of the few I have I do find myself reaching for the Cream and sugar one the most often. It is just a good everyday work palette. And the shades were chosen so it is super easy to work with. Everything just makes sense for in a rush application.

Finally I went with the Clinique lipstick sample that was in this month’s Macy’s subscription. This is the first time I’ve used it and quite honestly it reminds me of the ELF Sheer Slick. It has the same level of pigmentation. It feels a little waxier, almost as though it feels more like a bullet lipstick on the lips. The color is of a sheer lip gloss. I like it and I think I will use it, but I’m not sure I would purchase the full size.

And those my darlings are the highlights from todays look. I used quite a few products I love and even added a new one in. Mostly I just went for what was quick and easy as I am racing towards the end of the month deadlines. Its always the month’s with only thirty days that get me. I don’t know why. It’s not like one day makes as big a difference, yet in the months with only thirty days, I always feel like I am scrambling in that last week. But, such is life. And the race to the end of the month must continue. And so it is back to work I go.

The Daily: September 23rd, 2021

Oh my darlings, you see that bright ball of yellow in the sky?  It’s the sun! That’s right, today is sunny and bright.  In addition, the temperatures have dropped and the floodwaters have receded from the walking trail. Being outside was glorious.

I know that people always talk about the magic of spring time and the glory of the world being reborn but here when the summer heat is scorching and has a stranglehold on the world, autumn always feels a bit like a miracle.

For the first time since March I was able to go on a walk and not have sweat pouring out of me. It wasn’t just walking for exercise, it was walking for the pleasure of enjoying the world. I saw a green snake sunning himself on a rock and rabbits scattering into the undergrowth as they heard my footsteps. I got to see people on their bicycles and runners smiling instead of grimacing as though they were preparing to be sent marching across a field of battle.

I think my favorite sight on my walk today was one of my neighbors. She has a husky who had some sort of post car accident hip surgery. For therapy the dog has to walk a couple of times a day regardless of anything else going on. For the past few weeks he has walked with his head down and tail between his legs as though he was being led to the gallows. Today, his tail was wagging and he was alert and sniffing. And his owner didn’t look guilty for making him walk.

I’ll concede that spring is wonderful and as a gardener I love seeing my seeds push up and out of the earth, becoming actual plants. But these first days of autumn when the heat finally breaks just feel so miraculous. I went on a walk earlier and I am pretty sure that this afternoon, there will be another walk. I can say that because i am not sweating as much I want to push myself, but the truth is, these are the days I most want to be outside. It is remembering to stay inside at my desk in order to get my work done that is the difficulty.

Brows: Brow Bar by Reema

Eyeshadow: Natasha Denona Cranberry Palette

Mascara: Its So Big by Elizabeth Mott

Setting Spray Lise Watier Magnifix

Today is an interesting mix of things I am trying out and things I am trying to use up. The urban Decay Primer, as much as I love it, has been discontinued so It is on the to use up list. The same thing goes for the Becca Pink Haze Setting Powder. I love it but Becca has closed it’s doors and so the brand as well as the product is no more and thus I am using up my setting powder. I will actually ty to find a new pink setting powder though as I really like the healthy glow it can bring to my skin, especially in the winter months. The Lise Watier Setting Spray is another item i will be using up and not repurchasing. It is a fine setting spray, just not my favorite because the spray is a little clunky and tends to leave splatters.

I’ve used the Elizabeth Mott Mascara before. It falls into the category of okay but not great. I don’t have any problems with it, but it isn’t special. I don’t look at it and thing, I want to use that it makes my lashes so… Because it doesn’t. I look at it and think: “Well Its open so I might as well use it so it doesn’t go bad.” So I will use it and then let it go without repurchasing.

The two faced Bronzer I love and would repurchase. The Natasha Denona I like but tend to forget I have because it is a small enough palette that it hides in the shadows. It is highly pigmented and blends really well. I went a little heavy on the cranberry shade as I forgot how pigmented it actually was. But now that I’ve use it I know it is something that for the fall and winter I will be reaching for more often.

The YC Collection blushes I don’t think I will be reaching for much after I am finished trying them out. They are okay and once you get used to working with them, they are fine. However I have only had them open for about a week and the liquid already feels thicker when it comes out of the tubes. I only open the blush to dot on my cheek and then I close it up again so I’m not leaving it open for long periods of time, but they are still starting to feel a little thicker.

I am a huge fan of the IPKN BB Cream. It is light weight and when blended with a foundation brush I am getting a few streaks, however the makeup sponge blends them out really well and really easily so that isn’t much of a concern. And the product is blending beautifully. It also has a surprising amount of redness coverage. I’ll be posting a review with pictures next week. I didn’t want to post it today as I feel I haven’t really worn it enough times yet, but this far I am liking it.

I am also really liking this Brow Bar Kit by Reema. The gold case is sleek and lovely, the mirror large and useful and the tools are pretty good as well. I am liking the brow powder and the under brow contour shade and will be using this for a bit to get a better feel of the products. Thus far i am liking it and I think it will also travel well.

Finally we come to the lips. The gloss shade is nice. It isn’t too heavy and the formula is not too sticky on the lips. It is however a very minty smelling formula. I put it on and POW! Supermint. Oddly enough there is no mint taste to it. It is all scent. The gloss has no actual taste to it. I know, tasting your makeup isn’t usually a thing, but it is a lip product. And with a scent that strong I expected a taste. It tastes of nothing.

Overall I am pretty happy with how everything turned out today. I know there are a few repeats as I use products up and clear them out of my dressing table, but that is life my darlings. It can’t be all new products everyday. I think that amount of waste would surely kill something deep inside me. So we take the new with the old and use up products before moving on. Hopefully learning a few things along the way. And now I am going to try and tackle the last of my day’s paperwork so that I can slip out into the sun again and enjoy another walk before the sun goes down. Have a great day and i will see you back here bright and early tomorrow.

The Daily: September 21, 2021

Good afternoon my darlings and welcome to a very rainy Tuesday. Outside it is bucketing down and the odds of making it to the end of the drive without being a completely soaked mess are pretty nigh impossible. However I am feeling the twitchy itch to move about so there was a short session with my hand weights in the sunroom this morning and this afternoon there will be yoga.

Oh yes, there will be yoga.

Other than that there is just a lot of working at the desk. Me and my keyboard are the bestest of friends today.

And because I don’t need to go out into the heat and humidity, I can just leave my hair down for a bit. I used one of the ribbons from an older Glossy Box to tie it back so that it is out of the way, but that’s about it. I decided that today there will be no products and no twisting it up. I had to tie it back with the ribbon though because it keeps getting in the way. If nothing else it reminds me that I really need to seek out a stylist and get an actual hair cut. I butchered my bangs because they were driving me nuts so I am waiting until they grow out enough that they can be evened out by a professional. That has been my excuse for not getting it cut at the moment. well that and the fact that it has simply been too hot to do anything but twist it up and forget about it. But summer is fading and soon I will be able to wear it down. And with luck there will be places I can wear it down to. Socially distanced places, but still, places.

So I’ll need to do something soon. And I think to help me remember that I may be wearing it down more often when I’m in the house so I remember just how long my hair has gotten. Sometimes, I forget.

Today’s Look:

Primer: Optical Illusion by Urban Decay

Foundation: IPKN Moist and Firm BB Cream

Bronzer: Trestique Vegan Bronzing Stick

Blush: YC Collection Liquid Blush

Highlighter: Milk and Honey Palette from Beauty Bakerie

Powder: The Extraordinary Powder from Ciate London

Eyeshadow: Maple Glazed Palette from I heart Revolution

Mascara: Black Noir from Florence by Mills

Lips: ELF Sheer Slick in Black Cherry

Setting Spray Lise Watier Magnifix

Okay so lets go through this list of products. Some you may be seeing repeatedly for the next little while. First up there is the Urban Decay primer. It is an old favorite, it has been discontinued and I really need to use it up so that it can leave my dressing table. It is the travel size I always kept in my travel bag and it really does need to get used up so It will be staying out for a while and hopefully I can just plow through it.

The same actually goes for the Lise Watier Magnifix. It isn’t as big a favorite, but it is a nice setting spray. It is Also a travel size that needs to be used up. I don’t think that I will end up repurchasing it once it is done though. It is noice, but the spray is a bit heavy.

This is my first time using the IPKN BB Cream. It came in my Birchbox this month. I’ve used other products from the brand before and liked them. This BB cream feels nice, is a good color and blends well. It was a bit streaky with my brush and I had to switch to my makeup sponge in order to get rid of the brush lines. Thus far that is the only minor issue I’ve had with it. It seems to be wearing well. I think there is enough product in the sample tube to get through the week so we’ll see how it performs over the next few days.

This is the second day with the YC Collection Liquid blush. Looking on the website it looks like the blushes are designed for a more natural finish look and they seem to work better with a BB Cream. There is still a strange line between clown spots and blending into nothing. I don’t think these are going to be my favorite products, but thus far I don’t hate them. I don’t know how often I will reach for them once my initial testing is done.

The same can also be said for the Florence by Mills mascara. It is a dark mascara. So it makes your lashes dark. It doesn’t lengthen and it doesn’t volumize. I can only wear it with lighter eyeshadow or my lashes just sort of disapear. It is a mascara I don’t find myself reaching for, but I am trying to remember to use it so that it won’t go to waste in the six months that I keep mascaras open. I think it is the mascara to wear on a no/low makeup day. My eyeshadow was light enough I felt I could get away with it,

There were four rock star products I used today and they are ones I love, will keep around and will repurchase. The Maple Glazed shadow Palette, the Ciate London Powder, the Trestique bronzing stick and the Elf Sheer slick in Black Cherry. I really like how these products perform. And to be honest, All but the eyeshadow palette are repeat purchases and the Maple Glazed Palette makes me want to buy the other doughnut palettes from Revolution.

It is kind of a low key day around here, which is fine. It is time to work on things at my desk while the rain turns the street into a shallow river and the river flows into the park turning the park into a lake. It is the drawback to building the walking trail and park in the flood plain. But the water has to go somewhere. And it is better going to the flood plain than into the basements of the neighborhood houses. Over all it is well planned, I’m just missing my walks.

Hence the afternoon Yoga.

The Daily: September 14th, 2021

Good afternoon my darlings. I hope Tuesday is going well for you. As for me it has taken me away from my desk for far longer than I actually intended today, but that’s okay. It does mean that I only got one short walk in this morning, despite increasingly nice weather and I will probably have to end up working a little later than I planned.

But only by about an hour or two. And then I’ll be back on schedule. Which is a nice way to hit mid week actually.

All in all I am pretty happy with the way this week is shaping up. Busy but not overwhelming is kind of how I like my work week to go, you know. You don’t want time hanging on you and you don’t want to feel like you can’t catch your breath. Or at least that is how I like things. I will say something I am not liking is this eyeshadow. Let’s get into that actually.

Today’s look:

Primer: Illamasqua Hydra Veil Primer

Foundation KVD Lock – it powder Foundation

Bronzer: Ace Beaute Bronzed in Paradise Palette

Blush/Highlight: Doucce Posh Powder Palette

Powder: Becca Pink Haze Powder

Eyebrows: Billion Dollar Beauty Brow Pomade in Taupe

Eyeshadow: Steve Laurent Wild Thing Palette

Mascara: Its So Big by Elizabeth Mott

Lipstick: Ciate London WonderWand Lipstick

Setting Spray Lise Watier Magnifix

Okay, first off we have the primer. It is one of the ones in a larger container that I forgot to list in my primer declutter. I really like the Illamasqua Primer it is a clear jelly and very little is actually needed so a container lasts a really long time. To use you scoop out the jelly with the little spoon attached to the interior lid and put it in the palm of your hand. The heat from your skin melts it and you just apply it like a moisturizer. You need to let it sit for a moment on the skin and dry down a little. once it is no longer wet it is still a little sticky and really locks makeup into place. This is the original one which I personally prefer over the Beyond the Veil version.

With today’s foundation it was especially important that the primer dry down. I used the KVD lock it powder foundation and while it is a good foundation if the primer is still wet then it can streak a little because it is powder on wet skin. Wait a second to let the primer settle and there are no issues. In fact these two work really well together. This is actually the only powder foundation I’ve tried that I actually really like. The problem is that it often gets put with the powders and forgotten about. I really do need to remember it more often because it really is a good light weight yet nicely covering foundation.

I am liking the Doucce palette more and more as I use it. It is a buildable formula with the blush which I really like. You can layer it until you get the look you like instead of having to worry about looking like a clown. The highlighters aren’t my favorite but they do blend fairly well.

Actually everything really worked well for me today except the eyeshadow. well that is not entirely true. The shimmers, once I sprayed a brush with setting spray to dampen it, worked well. It did nothing with a dry brush but was fine with a wet one. It’s just the mattes that are a problem. Today I went straight for the darkest shadow in the palette. Yup, the one that looks black. It is not very pigmented and it applies in streaks. I am not a fan. I also wanted a lighter color to put in the crease but the one lighter matte just matched my skin tone and disappeared. I know I planned to use this the rest of the week but quite frankly I don’t like it enough to use the rest of the week. I am going to clean it with disinfectant wipes and put it in the decluttered pile. I simply don’t want to reach for it again.

None of the colors are unique. The mattes are really hard to work with and the shimmers are just okay, but again not unique shades. It may be listed as the Wild Think Palette but it is very tame, very boring and not really something I want to use. Perhaps someone with better skills can make better use of it, but I am letting it go.

And with that, I am also going back to work. I hope whatever you have planned for the day goes well and you end up exactly where you want to be by the end of the day. Persona;;y, I’m just happy my day seems to be going according to plan. After the upsets of the summer, I think Fall might actually provide a stretch of smooth sailing.

The Daily: September 13th, 2021

Oh the best laid plans…when last we spoke I was enjoying the Annmarie Skincare Charcoal and Cacao Facemask and chopping vegetables in preparation for a delectable Friday night happy hour. But alas it was not to be. I chopped the onions and was reaching for the mushrooms when it was time to remove the mask.

I took my mask off, delighted in the fabulous skin left behind. I wrote up my thoughts for you and returned to the kitchen. My plan was to finish my chopping, caramalize the onions and then add the mushrooms. Once they were all cooked up I was going to add in the coat cheese, let the filling cool and wrap it in puff pastry, cooking until the pastry triangles were crisp.

Unfortunately as I went back for the mushrooms, my phone rang. A little over a year ago my babydoll replaced his car. There was something that needed fixing on it at the time so he didn’t trade it in. He planned to get the issue fixed and then sell it to a friend of his. He got the issue fixed but then his friend kept putting him off. And eventually the deal fell through. Mostly because last year changed a lot of things.

My babydoll decided to hold onto the old car for a little while to figure out what to do with it. Periodically he takes it out to make sure everything is still running appropriately. Friday he realized he hadn’t taken it out in a while and he decided to drive it to work. It was fine going in but apparently the battery died sometime during the day so I had to run out and pick him up. He had a pretty rough day all around and asked if we could just pick up dinner along the way. Which we did.

The chopped onions were used with hash browns on Saturday and This Friday I will try again with the puff pastry triangles. Luckily the rest of the weekend was quiet. More for my babydoll’s sake than mine. Last week was a bit rushed because it was a short week, but his week was calamity after calamity with the cherry on top being the dead battery so he really needed to just collapse for a bit and recharge. I’m hoping he has a much better week this week. As for me I got to catch up on the show Billions. Paramount + has Seasons 1 – 3 streaming until October 4th. I’m trying to get through all three seasons before then, so there will be repeat binge sessions. Besides I needed a bit of a break from horror and murder which seems to be taking up the bulk of my television time lately. I’d worry but as everywhere near me has already started putting out their Halloween decorations I think it might be something in the air. Regardless, Paramount + is now turning into one of my favorite streaming sites (I think it is $4.99 per month. This link will take you there if you want more details)

Today’s Look:

Primer: Glam Glow Supermatify Primer

Foundation: Revolution Fast Base Stick Foundation

Bronzer: Ciate Bamboo Bronzer

Blush: Floss Cheek and Lip Tint in Sandals

Highlighter: Jecca Blac Glow Drops in Champagne

Powder: No 7 Perfect Light pressed powder

Eyeshadow: Steve Laurant Wild Thing Palette

Mascara: Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir

  • Marc Jacobs is just about to wind down their 50% off sale. It ends sometime this week I believe.

Lips: Zoeva Power4ful Lip Twist in Rhea

Setting Spray: The Porefessional Super setter Setting Spray

Okay lets start with the primer. I know what you are thinking. Didn’t Mimsy just do a primer declutter? I don’t think this was mentioned. Good eye. It was not. Because of the bulky packaging this Glam Glow Primer, my Illamasqua Primer and my Stila Primer were moved to a different drawer. I forgot all about them when doing my declutter, so I will use all three this week and cover them here. Today is of course the Glam Glow. I do like this primer. It smells of licorice and it is super mattifying. I actually chose it today because we have something like 97% humidity. Even sitting indoors at my desk, I am bound to get sticky. So today was it’s day to shine. Or at least to keep me from shining. As much as I like this primer, I think I would have to think a while before repurchasing it. The package is bulky and there isn’t a lot of product in it. There is far more package than product. It is nice to have and I will happily use this until it is all gone, but I think because of the amount o0f product in the package, I would only purchase this when it is on sale. It is a great primer, but there just isn’t a lot of product.

The Revolution Fast Base Foundation stick is a definite repurchase. It is an excellent foundation, that doesn’t cost a lot of money and it is perfect for travel as it can’t spill. It can leave the skin looking a tad on the shiny side, so be prepared with a powder. Today’s powder is my long term fave, No 7. Do I need to say I’d repurchase this? Probably not, but I will. This is a staple of my makeup bag and has been already repurchased so many times I have lost count.

The bronzer however is new to me. I have to say I was super excited when this came in the mail the other day. No I don’t have fairies dropping bronzer off at my house. Although really, how cool would that be. The magic makeup fairies… Anyway, no. I ordered it. It was very satisfying to get though. A while back I realized that the only item I didn’t have in my collection from Ciate was a bronzer. I had every other type of product. So I thought, Oh I’ll get the bronzer and then do a full face of Ciate London products, won’t that be fun? So I went to order it. It was out of stock. Then it came back in stock and I forgot I was going to do a whole face of Ciate and thought, I have enough bronzers. So I didn’t order it.

Then I remembered and went to order, and it was out of stock again. There were a couple of other missteps but I finally got around to ordering it and here it is. Of course now I have finished both mascaras from Ciate that I was using and accidentally broke the highlighter. So no full face at the moment. But I’m sure I will at least get a mascara in soon. The Ciate Mascaras are on my reorder list and I’m sure I will reorder before the bronzer runs out. So this was my first use of the bronzer. It was nice actually. I’m sorry it took me so long to order it. The bamboo bronzer is a nice shade for me and is more buildable than highly pigmented. I really like that actually as it keeps me from having to blend out harsh stripes. The shade I am using is South Beach. I really like this first use of the product and I am looking forward to using it for a while. It is also a lovely looking compact to thats always nice too.

There was another new item in my look today and it was the Steve Laurant Wild Thing eyeshadow palette. It is not exactly a new palette. I received it in a subscription box a while ago but I can’t remember ever using it and when I went through the palettes to declutter I couldn’t remember using it. It also looked untouched. So I decided to give it a go this week. This is my first use of it and I can’t say I am all that impressed. For something called Wild Thing, it is incredibly tame. The small two inch square palette would be perfect for slipping into your bag to touch up work makeup. Because this is really a neural office palette, despite the name. This far it isn’t highly pigmented. I’m going to be playing with it this week and I’ll keep ypu poster.

The other kind of new item is the Zoeva Lip Twist. I used it once before. It is extremely sorft and on my first use the point of the lip crayon sheered off. It does have a sharpener on the end, but I decided not to use it and just use the lip crayon with a flat end. This is working pretty well. I think it I were to sharpen it, the point would fall off again and I would just waste product. It is a neutral enough color that it works. I think if this were a bright color than I would have to use a brush to get clean lines, but the neutral works well as it is. It feels a little waxy o0n the lips so I’m not sure if I would order more colors in this formula. It is a nice neutral but I think this may be my only powerful lip twist from Zoeva. I just have many other products I like a lot more.

The last product I really want to mention today is the setting spray. You’ll notice it is not Farsali. That is because I finally finished the Farsali Setting Spray over the weekend and decided to celebrate by reaching for the Benefit Cosmetics. This setting spray has an ultra fine mist and really helps lock in product. The scent is reminiscent of the Porefessional Primer, which I happen to like. But it is a light scent. It is a much lighter scent than the Farsali and was kind of a relief to use. The Farsali was nice, but that scent was too much. I was happy to be able to switch out products once again.

And that was pretty much my makeup for the day. And now that this pleasant interlude is over, I must get back to work. I hope your Monday flows smoothly and easily.

The Daily: September 7th, 2021

Hello my darlings and I hope you had a fabulous three day weekend. We actually took a little bit of a summer getaway. This summer there simply wasn’t time for an actual vacation so we decided that the end of summer would have to do. Friday was a half day and we ended up going to a small cabin in the mountains. It was basically the two of us in a cabin in the woods. Check in was no contact and there was no wi-fi and barely any cell service. We saw no one and really just took the long weekend to completely unwind.

It was glorious.

And the fact that it was a completely no contact weekend was really nice as when I came back there were multiple electronic warnings about the danger of Labor Day Travel. So it was a nice and safe holiday.

And when I came back I put my eSalon to use. The custom dye came in before I left, but I waited to use it until after I got back. I went with something a little bit darker and I think it worked out well. As always I love the care they put into their kits. I really like the fact that the eSalon kits also have a step by step process that it really feels like a custom experience.

Try eSalon Today! Only $15!

Plus I’m still working on finding a new stylist. With the eSalon, I really do like dying my hair on my own so I wanted to take care of that before I found someone to cut my hair. It’s proving harder than I thought. Plus I’m trying to decide if i should go now before things get any worse where I live (infection rates are rising) or if I should wait just a little longer for them to go down a bit.

Decisions, decisions.

But at least I got my hair dyed.

Today’s look:

Primer: Milk Makeup Hydrogrip Primer

Foundation: No 7 Lift and Luminate Triple Action serum Foundation

Bronzer: Lottie London Sunburst Bronzer

Blush: bareMinerals Bounce and Blur Blush

Highlighter: Laura Geller Baked Original in French Vanilla

Powder: Elf Translucent Loose HD Powder

Eyeshadow: Rimmel Magnif’eyes Crimson Edition

Mascara: Milk Makeup Kush Mascara

Lips: M2U NYC Matte Liquid Lip in Soho

Setting Spray: Farsali Rose Gold Face Mist

Today was an interesting mix of products for me. The Milk Makeup primer is a sample size that I found in my primer drawer during a declutter. I liked it enough to pick up a full size, but then I somehow forgot about the sample, so I am using it up. I have one, maybe two uses left in the container so I used it today and will use it tomorrow and possibly Thursday just to finish it up. It is a formula I really like and really does lock in anything layered on top of it.

The No 7 Foundation is one of my favorite drugstore foundations. It is light weight and I tend to forget I am wearing it. It also blends really well and lasts all day.

This is my second use of the Lottie London bronzer. I like the way it looks on and I like the way it blends. I am not too thrilled with the overly sweet faux coconut scent to it. It is only strong when you are applying it though so that isn’t too bad. The scent goes away fast, I just don’t like the scent. Still the bronzer seems to work well so maybe it will end up working well enough that I can get over the scent. I suspect it will end up being an occasional bronzer though as I do find the scent off putting.

the bareMinerals Bounce and Blur Blush is one of my favorites. It is fantastic and I reach for it often. It is super east to blend and for me this mauve sunrise is an excellent color.

I am still on the fence with the Laura Geller Backed highlighter. I love the fact that it is light without glitter. I am not so thrilled by the fact that it is not the easiest product to blend. when applied with a brush it tended to leave a strip of white that was difficult to blend. I found that even though it is a powder it was easier to dip my finger in and ort of tap the finger along the area where I wanted the highlight. That seemed to apply better and create less of a stripe for me. It is still new to my collection so I’ll be playing around with it a bit more.

The elf HD Powder isn’t new but I haven’t use it in a while. I tend to like the loose elf translucent powder better than he pressed translucent powder. Somehow the pressed leaves a little too much whitecast behind while the loose doesn’t. I think I will be using this up though and getting a tinted powder from elf instead. While I like the loose powder, it is still a bit white for me as I still have a summer tan. In the winter it is less of an issue, but I think a tint to this powder wouldn’t be a bad thing.

This Rimmel eyeshadow palette was in my declutter pile. I mentioned it as part of my declutter post. However I couldn’t remember how it applied and so I decided to keep it around for a little bit to play around with it. I know I have most of these shades elsewhere in formulas I really like, but I just liked the look of it and since i couldn’t remember how I felt about it I felt that was a good enough reason for a second shot. Today I leaned into the darker shades which worked well. Not spectacular, but well. The one lighter shade I used a dry brush and it was okay. I think with a wet brush it would do better. so I will try that tomorrow as I keep playing with the palette. Right now it is possible it could go into the declutter pile again, or I could decide to keep it. I should know by the end of the week.

Milk Makeup also appeared in my mascara today as I finish out a sample sized tube of Kush Mascara. I like this mascara. It lengthens well but doesn’t do a lot for volume. It isn’t overly dramatic but a very good everyday mascara. I could easily see myself picking up a full sized tube of this in the future.

I am also impressed by this M2U lipstick. It takes a while to dry down enough not to leave lip prints, but when it does dry down it is a really comfortable product to wear. It doesn’t dry out my lips or crumble midway through the afternoon. And the full sized lippies are $7. So I suspect that I will be picking up a few more of these in the near future.

And finally the ever dwindling setting spray. There is less than an inch of spray left and I will be very happy when it is finally used up. The spray is nice and I plan to reuse the glass bottle. The product is nice as well. It is the scent that gets me though. I just don’t care for it and am very ready to not smell it any more. I think that If I use it this week, I can use it up and next Monday start the week off with one of my other setting sprays. That’s the plan anyway. It is a good product, but I just don’t like the scent.

So those were the products I used today. Some old, some new, some forgotten and some on the verge of being used up. I Don’t know why it makes me so happy to actually fully use a product, but it always does. I’m sure it is something deeply troubling in my psyche but I’ll leave that to the shrinks to figure out. For now it is back to work for me. I enjoyed my long weekend but now I am paying for it by playing catch up. Such is life.

The Daily: September 1st, 2021

Good afternoon my darlings and welcome to September. Yes, there is no more teasing, it is officially fall. At least in my books. And because of the rain and cloud cover it actually feels like fall. which is nice for September 1st. it also feels like a conspiracy. I have my Tomahawk Shades lined up on the shelf and they are just begging to be worn. Especially the tortoise shell pair from the Grasshopper line. I says “wear me, and don’t forget to grab a bold red lip when you do.”

Isn’t that always the way though? As soon as you find something you want to wear the weather says, yeah, not today. Its why I haven’t taken my sweaters and other cool weather clothing out of the back of the closet. I don’t want to encourage the heat to linger any longer than it has to. I’ve concentrated my fall efforts on other areas, like the decluttering.

I have actually really been enjoying that to be honest. The lip products were a long overdue necessity. While I am sorting through other categories and not getting rid of as much I love the fact that things i haven’t used in a while come to light. Then I get to use them because I love them and haven’t seen them in a while or because I can’t really remember how I felt about them. Or because I want to use them up, or try out something new. Today’s makeup is sort of a testament to that.

Today’s Look:

Primer: Milk Makeup Hydro Grip

Foundation: NYX Bare With Me Tinted Skin Veil

Blush/Bronzer/highlight/powder: Cover FX Perfecter Face palette

Eyeshadow: Tartelette Tease palette

Mascara: Milk Makeup Kush Mascara

Lips: M2U NYC Matte Liquid Lip in the shade Soho

The Milk makeup Hydro Grip primer is a sample size that I thought I had finished. I liked it enough that I ordered the full size but have been forcing myself to finish out at least two more primers before I open. when sorting through my primers, i found out that i had just a little bit left, so I am going to be using it until it is absolutely empty and can go. That way it doesn’t get lost in the bottom of the drawer again. Its a little round tube that tends to roll. It is also a very good primer, so I don’t mind keeping it around for a few more days.

The NYX tinted Skin Veil I found about a week ago in the drawer, pulled it out and used it and remembered just how much I liked it. It blends in really well and feels feather light on the skin. The shade I have is True Beige Buff and it is flexible enough that i don’t need to stock up on multiple shades for different seasons. So That is an added bonus for me. In deepest summer it can be a little light so I use tinted powder and in my palest winter it can be a smidge too dark so i adjust with translucent powder. Those are the only corrections I need to make.

The Cover FX Palette is an interesting one. I had this palette, or one nearly identical to it, a long tike ago. I remember it being all the rage and everyone talking about it at the time I was using it. I thought it was a fabulous travel palette if I remember and I remembered loving the hard case as it protected the products. I think the Powder and Contour I used down to pan and the other pans were looking pretty worn. I also think the case and mirror ended up cracked and i wasn’t certain if mirror shards got into the powders so I decluttered it. A few months ago I saw this on Boxy Pop up and was at that time quite excited about the possibility of travel resuming so i ordered it. I think I used it once when it came in and then forgot it. when i sorted palettes again I came across it. I think because of how i used the last one (when I had a job that put me constantly on the road)My brain just saw the palette and thought “Travel Palette”.

And it is an excellent travel palette. It is also just a good general palette. The contour works as a bronzer for me. It is very pigmented so I found myself treading lightly and then blending. The blush is a little brighter a pink than I usually use, but I actually like it quite a lot. I did find that I had to do a quick tap with the blush so that i didn’t apply too much. The highlighter is golden in tone (my preference) and blends well so there is a glow rather than a streak of gold. Over all it is a good little palette. I just need to think of it more as a palette and less of a travel palette.

The same holds true of the tartelette Tease palette. it is six basic tarte shades and I bought it a while ago soely for the purpose of travel. The palette is about three inches long and slips easily into a travel bag. The shadows are varied enough for good basic looks and I happen to like the tarte formula. You do have to tap off the brush to avoid fall out from the mattes but they are highly pigmented. Also if you want the shimmers to shine you really need to wet the brush. I didn’t bother today so it is quite a low shimmer. I also used the darkest matte in the palette (Shade bff) to remind myself about the palette.

The Kush mascara I opened, tried once and then the trail sized tube was buried and forgotten. Somehow it ended up with the lipsticks. So I decided to dig it out and put it in rotation. It has a fluffy wand, which I like and while the formula is not overly dramatic, it is pretty good. I haven’t had any problems with it flaking yet, but I will use it more to get a better feel for it. While it isn’t massively lengthening or volumizing it is a good mascara that does enhance the lashes.

And then we move on to the lip. I’m guessing the M2U NYC matte lip came in an IPSY bag at some point. I honestly don’t remember it arriving, but that seems like a logical arrival point. The color is nice. It takes a little while for the formula to dry down. Once it does, the lipstick stays in place. There is a bit of wearing off. It is not an apply in the morning and forget about it product. Lunch wore the lipstick off and I reapplied. Once it is dry it is comfortable enough that i can forget that i am wearing it and it doesn’t transfer. It isn’t dry enough to make my lips feel dried out, just dry enough to stay in place. The waiting for it t dry down and then having to reapply it after eating are the only issues I can see with this lip so far, so first impressions are quite possitive. I know nothing about the brand, this is in fact the first time I’ve ever heard of them or tried a product. This lipstick does make me want to go in search of more products though. And it is always nice to find new brands that i like.

Finally today’s look wraps up with the Farsali Setting spray. There is only about an inch worth of product left in the bottle and I am determined to finish it out. The product is pretty, the bottle lovely and in truth it works well as a setting spray. it isn’t spectacular, but it is nice. I just can’t stand the scent of it. So I will use it up. And because the bottle is glass and can be reused, I may transfer a different setting spray into the bottle. I have a setting spray that is leaking and another where I like the product but can’t stand the spray. So In this case recycling actually helps me out. And soon the Farsili Spray will be used up. While it is a nice product, because of the scent, I will not be repurchasing it, just reusing the bottle.

And that was todays look. A large part of it was inspired by my current declutter, but I am okay with that. the declutter has gotten me excited about products I already have as well as letting me clear out space and reorganize, which is kind of nice. I like like the excitement of finding things that I forgot I had. It’s like my own personal treasure hunt. and as there are several more categories to go through, we push on in our declutter quest. Onward and upward! To El Dorado! Or at least the land of makeup i forgot about.

The Daily: August 31st, 2021

Ah my darlings we have reached the end of the month. I don’t know why the end of the month always turns into a train wreck of last minute projects and a scramble to get things done, yet somehow, it always does. This month is no exception. In fact I think it might be worse because it is the end of August. Not only is the month ending but it feels as though summer is as well.

I know the heat will not really break for another few weeks, but today it is raining. The temperatures are only in the 70s instead of the 90s and it feels like autumn is don’t it’s best to sneak in under cloud cover. Each year I have great plans i want in place before autumn arrives and each year it takes me a bit by surprise. I always plan to be further ahead than I actually am.

At least with the rain there is no temptation for a walk. The park has already flooded and become impassable. And we have at least another day of this if the weathermen are correct. So even if it prohibits the walking, it is keeping me locked down at my desk and checking off the things that need to be done at months end and beginning. So that’s sort of nice. And I’ll try to work in some weights and yoga this afternoon when I need a break from sitting at the desk.

Mostly because I know i won’t be able to sit still all day. It is the change that comes from routine exercise. As hard as it is to get started incorporating exercise into your routine, after a while your body starts getting fidgety if you skip it. I still regard things like the gym as necessary evils, and have no idea how it is that some people truly enjoy the gym. Power to them actually, I wish sometimes that I was one of them. But I am not. The gym is a chore like any other. But it is not one I have to face today. In fact i have been taking a break from the gym lately due to rising infection rates in my area. Hence the reason my normal work out got rained out today. But I will sneak in some yoga and watch my calories, so it shouldn’t be too big a set back.

Today’s look:

Primer: Benefit Cosmetics Porefessional Primer

Foundation: Pretty Vulgar Cool AF Lava Water Foundation

Blush/Bronze/highlight: Real Her Ultimate Glow Getter Cheek Trio

Powder: No 7 Perfect Light Pressed powder

eyeshadow: real Her dreams so Big Eyeshadow Duo

Lips: Milk Makeup Lip and Cheek Tint

Mascara: Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara

Setting Spray: Farsali Rose Gold Face Mist

I’ll be honest, today I grabbed the Porefessional and Pretty Vulgar products partially because they were still out from yesterday and partially because I really liked using them yesterday. They are both great products and I didn’t have a problem using them two days in a row. Everything else was more or less chosen because I didn’t really want to think about it.

I know the Real Her cheek Trip works well and easily, the Marc Jacobs mascara is one of my favorites and the No 7 remains my favorite pressed powder. The Milk Makeup lip and cheek stain I really like only on my lips and I hadn’t used it in a while so I decided it would be nice to use today.

The Real Her Eyeshadow duo I am still coming to terms with. While I love the Real Her palette, this is the first eyeshadow I have tried from the brand Real Her. It is a nice duo with a brown shade and a pink shimmer. It is not highly pigmented, but it is buildable. The matte shade needs to be tapped off after you dip a brush in to avoid fall out, but if you tap the brush then there isn’t a lot of fall out during application. The shimmer is subtle with a dry brush. I haven’t tried it with a wet brush, but I will to see if it is improved. thus far there is little fall out from the shimmer either.

Over all today was more about doing my make up quickly and simply with products I know and like. I just couldn’t resist the eyeshadow at the end. Not terribly exciting I know, but I do like knowing what products I reach for when I need something consistently good Pretty much all of these products fall into the reliable category.

But now it is back to work for me today. The rain is falling pretty heavily now and I am determined to clear off this stack of paperwork before the new month/season starts in the morning. Wish me luck.

The Daily: August 30th, 2021

Good afternoon my darlings and welcome to the start of a new week. It was an interesting weekend for me. Quiet, but interesting. My main focus was to get my sleep patterns back to something resembling normality, which I did.

It was nice.

I know alarm clocks are useful and lord knows I wouldn’t get up on time if I didn’t have one, but I really enjoy having two days where i get to wake up when my body decides it wants to wake up instead of being startled awake by the alarm.

Beyond sleep, I started in on some of my fall to do list. The manicure, I put off a bit. However I did start my decluttering, which I’ll be posting about this week, and more importantly I went shopping for new bras. I know not the most exciting thing, but more than any other garment in my wardrobe, my bras take a beating in the summer time.

While in the gym I tend to remember to wear the sports bras. When on a walk through the park, I generally just walk in whatever I happen to be wearing. So I generally end the summer restocking and bidding several bras a fond farewell. The Bali bras are really good as they are comfortable and durable. While the fit is nice, I think one of my favorite aspects are the straps. They are wide enough to comfortably support without digging into my shoulders. And these bras will last me all year and well into next summer.

Very few of my undergarments worn on walks in the summer time actually survive the summer. Each spring I designate older undergarments as “walking wear” and between the sweating and the washing they just take a beating. Hence the sort through and replace every fall. But as soon as the heat breaks I get to wear my nicer undergarments on a more regular basis, which is nice.

I have to admit that i love the underwear clear out in the fall. as the summer progresses the drawer just looks worse and worse. I have a line of nicer things off to the side, mostly including my Underclub sets as well as nicer things I wear going out, but the everyday walking wear just looks worse and worse as the summer goes on. So the clear out always makes me feel really happy.

It is my first declutter of the season.

Followed shortly thereafter by other declutters. I do like declutters, not only do they make things feel fresh (if only because I reorganize and put everything where it belongs) but I always find things that i forgot I had so even if I don’t go shopping, I feel like I have some new things. That actually applies to my makeup today as well.

Today’s Look:

Primer: Benefit Cosmetics Porefessional Primer

Foundation: Pretty Vulgar Cool AF Lava Water Foundation

Blush: Ciate London Marbled Light Blush

Bronzer: Lottie London Sunburst Bronzer

Powder: No 7 Perfect Light Powder

Highlight: Laura Geller Baked Original Highlighter in French Vanilla

Eyeshadow: Lime Crime Prelude Exposed Palette

Mascara: ABH Lash Brag

Lips: bareMinerals Gen Nude in Pout

Setting Spray Farsali Rose Gold Face Mist

The Benefit Cosmetics Porefessional is one of my favorite primers. I actually picked it up today because I thought it felt a little hollow and I wanted to see how much product was left in it. I squeezed the air out of the tube and it turs out there is a lot more than I thought there was so I am happy. I tend to pick up the holiday kits to restock on a lot of Benefit products (partially because I really like the tins as well a the products) and I think my primer will last until the Holiday kits come out. As we are reaching the end of August it actually won’t be that long. Halloween decorations are already in stores and with Thanksgiving barely a blip on the retail radar, the holiday kits, advent calendars and black Friday sales aren’t that far away.

And yes I’ve already started my list of both presents to pick up this year and things I want to stock up on here. I know, Labor day sales are just kicking off and I will be taking advantage of some of them but honestly, in my house we have always done things for the home on Labor Day. I’m pretty sure all of our major appliance purchases were Labor Day ones. At the moment the only big house purchase we have coming up is a mattress. I know Sleephead has a sale going on. I think we might take advantage of that one this year pick up one of the gel toppers and then maybe look at Purple for the mattress sale. Their labor day sale is up to $350 off so it is definitely a good time to look into the replacement. Well technically we should have picked up a replacement last year but never got around to it. So this year is a must. (I’ll link both sales down below if anyone is interested.)

Beyond that I am redoing a lot of my desk so I can get more organization in my life. I’ve been looking at Sonix and Multitasky for a lot of those items and hope to have a plan in place soon so i can take advantage of those sales. But that is off topic.

To the makeup, batman!

I admit, I forgot completely about the Pretty Vulgar Foundation. I really like the way it blends into the skin and this shade really does work well for me. I found it in my foundation drawer. It was on it’s side and because of the shape of the bottle it rolled towards the back. It is just a little too tall to actually stand up. I think the only reason that I forgot it is because when I think of Pretty Vulgar I automatically think of The Feather’s mascara. But I really need to remember this foundation as well, because it really is good medium coverage that feels feather light on the skin.

Seeing the Ciate Blush in the Look Fantastic box reminded me of the marbled light blush so I pulled it out today. While I like the Glow to illuminating blush, I personally prefer the look of the marbled light. And I was happy to use it.

The No 7 is a long term staple. I know I don’t have to tell you again hoe much I love this powder.

The bronzer however was one I honestly didn’t know I had. I knw I had a Lotte London Blush somewhere but I could not remember getting the Bronzer. I’m guessing it came in an IPSY Bag a while ago and I just forgot it. I think this is the first time I’ve used it. I found it interesting. It is a Coconut scented bronzer. The faux coconut scent is pretty strong and to be honest, I don’t like the scent. The bronzer itself, I actually really like. It goes on well, blends nicely and thus far today has worn really well. I think I actually like it enough to ignore the scent. I’m going to keep it out for a few days to try it out and see if the scent is something i can ignore or if after a few days it is what causes me to want to push the bronzer away.

This is the second time I’ve used the Laura Geller baked highlighter and I am impressed. It is a nice highlight with absolutely no glitter in it. Often times if I know I have a meeting for work I will completely skip the highlighter because I don’t want any glittery mess. This is perfect for an office. It adds the light without the sparkle. And while I like sparkle as much as the next person, sometimes it isn’t appropriate. This is a product i am keeping around for office wear. As a caution, A light hand is needed otherwise there is just a light powder smear. It blends better of you go in light. if you go in heavy it is harder to blend in.

For eyeshadow I just wanted something quick today so I just used the Abyss in my Lime Crime Palette as a one and done look. It blended well with my bareminerals lip gloss (another fave) and I was happy. It was a simple look today, which is fine for me. It is a day spent mostly at the computer so I didn’t feel the need to go too crazy. So quick and easy ruled the day.

The Daily: August 23rd, 2021

Welcome to another Monday afternoon. I hope that everyone had a fantastic weekend. I know that my Friday posts sounded a little off. I skipped both the masking and Happy Hour posts out of necessity and I know I sounded a little off.

My babydoll is subject to nasty sinus infections that can very quickly spread into his chest and lungs. His current sinus issues went from bad to very bad in a very short space of time (hence the doctor’s visit of Friday) and as the Delta variant has been most virulent in our area I was a bit of a panicked mess until the doctor officially declared it only a sinus infection.

Now calmness can return. He slept most of the weekend and needed to be babied, but things are resuming their normal course. The panic has subsided and I apologize if I sounded like a loony on Friday.

Speaking of normal rhythms though, most of the schools in our area are back in session for the fall semester, even if some of them are on line. The summer veg is almost completely spent and this week I will be pulling out the remains of the plants this week, and you know what that means?

The autumn manicure.

As much as I love painting my nails, during the summer it is petty much a lost cause. Even the best polishes will be chipped in less than two days. In the summer time I mostly concentrate on nail health. I use cuticle oils and nail strengtheners and mostly just let my nails breathe and try not to do too much damage. At the moment they are rather short because of the garden work. But this weekend, once the garden is through, there will be the annual autumn manicure. Hands will be soaked in oiled water. Exfoliated and buffed, my hands will get the at home royal treatment. I have even been saving a hand mask for the autumnal manicure. I might use that This Friday along with the face mask. The heat may not have broken, but my hands are taking advantage of the calendar date.

I am very much looking forward to it.

Of course it also means that I need to catch up on all of the things I promised myself I would do for fall. This year the chief among them was get my desk organized. It is still too hot to put away some of my summer essentials like the Avene Thermal Water spray that lives by the back door all summer long or the Color Wow Dream Coat which is pretty much single handedly keeping the humidity from turning my hair into a frizz ball every afternoon, however it is time to start thinking about getting the autumn and winter products out. Soon the closet clear out will begin and any item that gave its all for my summer wardrobe and can’t last another summer will be removed from service, even if it isn’t quite time to haul out the sweaters. I at least need to sit down and make a list of all the things that need to change in the near future. The garden is always the kick off. Once spent plants are removed and taken to compost, the Autumn Manicure signals the start of fall transitioning. I may need to make that list tonight. especially as the autumn sales have already started.

Today’s Look:

Primer: Vesca Soft Sun Radiant Skin Primer

Foundation: Matte and Poreless from Maybelline Fit Me

Bronzer: NARS Bronzer in Laguna

Blush: Floss Lip and Cheek Tint

Highlighter: Illamasqua Beyond Powder in OMG

Powder: Smashbox Photo Finish Fresh Setting powder

Brows: Billion Dollar Beauty Brow Pomade in Taupe

Eyeshadow: KVD eyeshadow paired with illamasqua highlighter

Mascara: They’re real from Benefit Cosmetics

Lips KAB Hydrating Lip Oil

Setting Spray: Farsali Rose Gold Skin Mist

The first thing you will notice is that I ended up annoyed with the length of my bangs. It will be late September before the heat breaks and I go to get my hair cut, but I just couldn’t wait that long. they grow fast so I am sure they will be a good length when I do go to the salon. They are still damp in this photo as I sprayed them down with water and then trimmed them. They are also a bit uneven. I’m waiting until they fully dry before trimming again. They are longer when wet and i don’t want to cut them too short.

So you can actually see my brows today. And I ended up using the Billion Dollar Brows pomade. It is rapidly becoming my go to brow product. I rather enjoy it . I was a little heavy handed today, but I like the product.

the majority of products were actually chose because I wanted to give the Vesca Primer another go. Last week I tried it under the Purlisse illuminating bb cream and it was just too much glow. So today I chose a matte foundation and pretty much all products that I know well enough to know I like how they perform.

The Vesca gives a nice glow under the matte foundation but it is thin enough that it is almost like a liquid highlighter. there is no pore filling or redness cancelation with it. I like the way it looks paired with a matte foundation, but I am not sure how often i will reach for it. Generally if I am reaching for an illuminating primer I go for something that also has something else to it. I’m not entirely certain this does. I’ll keep working with it though to see how it performs this week with different products. i just wanted to try it today with products I know well and use often.

The NARS is slowly exposing more of the pan and will soon make it’s way out of my makeup rotation. i just want to keep it in until it is officially used up. I like the formula and the color so at some point I will be repurchasing it. I’m just excited to be hitting pan and finally letting it go.

Speaking of letting go. the They’re Real mascara is almost empty as well and soon it too will be leaving for the empties bin. I think I might have enough to use tomorrow but then I’ll have to let it go. While it is a nice formula, I prefer both the They’re real Magnetic Lengthening Mascara and the Bad Gal Bang Mascara. Both of those are on my repurchase list. I am trying to clear out all of the older mascaras and the mascaras in my unopened drawer before I purchase any though. I suspect that i will get pulled into the holiday kits from Benefit again this year as I almost always do, so I’m sure there will be at least another Benefit Cosmetics Mascara coming soon.

But that is more or less it for me today. I’m still trying to decide how I feel about the KAB lip oil so I’ll have to get back to you on that. At the moment it just feels like a lip oil. It will feature off and on this week as I try it out. So I’ll report back later. But for now, it is back to work for me. I hope your Monday is going swimmingly. Until tomorrow.
